I am off to teach the Sunbeams this morning. It is only the 2nd time this year I will be there with them, because last week I was ill. What sweet little spirits. I have in my class the grandsons and granddaughters of some of my favorite people in the world. Each one of these little people are precious to the Lord and me, I pray this is what I am able to teach them this year. And today I pray there are a few less tears, on my part as well !!

I think that most of the kids cried less today. Only one really had a hard time. I am sure next week will be even better. Keep up the good work.

I was grateful when I found out that you were Jack's teacher. He is a special little spirit who needs lots of understanding and love...not the "touchy" kind, I bet you have found out. He is a little quirky...like his daddy and grandpa!!!!! You are an anwser to prayer.
Teacher's aren't allowed to cry! :) you are the best primary teacher ever and those sunbeams will feel loved no matter what!! You have jewels in your crown already for all the love you give Heavenly Father's children!
Thank You all for your support and kind words. I do love them and my problem is I just don't want any one to suffer and crying means suffering to me !!! Crying speaks to my soul... I even reach to comfort babies when they're crying in their mother's arms, just a quirk I have? Yes there was less crying yesterday eventually !! lol We went to class early and they settled down really well. It means more time in the classroom but I just need to figure out more ways to keep them engaged. I don't stress over not being able to give the whole lesson, I try to get the main point across and then what ever they get after that is gravy !!! My goal is for them to know Heavenly Father loves them and I love them. I have always wanted my Primary children to feel safe with me, like they could come to me and I would always be there to help them. I pray to be all Heavenly Father wants me to be for these His children !!
I love having Jack in my class, he comes to class with no problem and he is happy and is really listening and will try everything. He even took snacks from me yesterday !!!

Just wanted to thank you for being such an awesome teacher to Aubrey. She talks about you all the time. Even today she was telling me "you know mom Sister Scott said that Jesus is always watching over us". Then she wanted an explanation as to how that all worked taking into acount that he lives so very far away. Anyway, it took awhile for Aubrey to warm up, and these new ones too. Just thank you for being such a wonderful teacher and know that you have such a great influence.
Lori, thank you for your kindness. What a treat to know she was listening, sometimes I'm not sure I am getting thru, so it is always nice to know they are learning. I was really happy when she began to trust me, it did take a long time !! lol
Kelly, Ben has already settled in to the routine and he came to class with a smile !!! He is a very happy boy and makes us all happy !!
