The Comforter.

I want to share with you a thought from the Sunbeam lesson today... it touched my heart and though it is a very easily understood principle I don't think I was using this gift to it's fullness.

"The Holy Ghost is like Heavenly Father and Jesus in many ways, he loves us and helps us. But he does not have a physical body like Heavenly Father and Jesus. He is a spirit so he can quietly put ideas into our minds and give us feelings of happiness and comfort."
I have found in teaching the most basic principles of the Gospel you are lead to the answers you need. One key principle in this equation is we have to be willing to receive the comfort offered. He is always there, he is the gift we were promised by the Savior.

My goal is to live worthy of this gift and utilize the Spirit for the Peace I seek in my crazy day to day life.

Aren't primary lessons the best? Basic gospel principles...basic, but grand and true! I need to try harder to LISTEN to the still small voice...it's hard to tune out the world sometimes...you are doing a great job teaching!

I try not to stress over what doesn't get taught each week. I know soon they will be better at sitting in their chairs and listening. Right now it is all about the snack !!!
