I'm thankful to have memories that are sweet and happy of Thanksgiving Days long ago !!!! I remember having the holidays with my dad's family, and my Uncle John always getting me to look at my shirt so he could flip my nose, I really let him get me each time because it was funny to me !! I remember my aunts and mother in the kitchen all day cooking while we kids played !!! My Uncle Kenneth would walk with me holding my hand and kick me in the seat with his foot from the other side, I would always look on the wrong side for him too !! lol And one of the silliest memories was when someone asked my Uncle John if he wanted a root beer, and he said if you remove the root !!! He never drank it was just a joke !!! I remember being in the kitchen after we ate washing dishes, our mom taught us to never get up from some one's table and not offer to help !! I never had Thanksgiving with my maternal grandparents as they all lived in Idaho, and we usually lived in Southern California !! I am thankful for the good memories and pray to only be able to remember the good times for there were many !!!
