I almost died the night she was born. I actually stopped breathing many times that night. But I have never forgotten being given the opportunity to come back and raise her. I thanked my Father for my life, and the nurses said, "what did she say?", in surprise, because they were trying to put a breathing tube down my throat. If I ever feel myself waiver I remember that night at death's door choosing to live because of her. I have never regretted the choice ever. Since she was born I have found the joy in every day. I never wanted to be anything other than a mother, I am grateful she came to be my daughter and gave me the opportunity to be one.
She has chosen to serve a mission for our church and will be gone for 18 months, I have always known she should go on a mission, but I never told her because it is something you have to do for the right reasons, not because your mom says. She will be an awesome missionary. I am so in awe of her.
I just want to post my memories of her over the next few months, this is the beginning...
