Today I ate some tuna which we bought at the "Big Box Store", it was their brand. Can I just say it was awful !!! I have decided there are just some things you need to eat the name brand or you're wasting your money !! Tuna is one of them !!
This my favorite brand which has never let me down in many years of eating tuna !! ( you thought I was going to say how long I have been eating tuna thus giving away my age, huh? LOL)
What are some things you have decided to eat only name brands? Share so I won't make the mistake of trying a brand that doesn't hold up !! Thanks

I don't do Tuna...but Dave always liked Chicken of the Sea. but usually we just get the costco brand...he doesn't complain! Can't think of anything i HAVE to have name brand...but I'll keep thinking! (And tasting!). :)
I always by Crisco...I think that is the secret to my pie crusts...

Knudsen Cotteage Cheese. Early in our marriage I tried to save some change and bought a generic. Hubby didn't go for that. One bite and in the trash it went. So we always get Knudsens Cottage Cheese.

Well. I don't buy all name brand stuff but, I totally know what you mean.. I have classic favorites.. Like Heinz Ketchup, I really hate Mayonaise but, if I use it for salads, it has to be Miracle Whip.
Definitely Crisco for shortening.I am sure there are more but, I can't think.
I too like name brand mayo, but Best Foods !!! We only had Miracle Whip growing up and I don't like it any more !!! lol That is funny !! Thanks Caleen !!!
I'm with Caleen on Miracle Whip...it is the only thing I use in my potato salad and deviled eggs. also...I use real butter when it calls for butter..........
My mom makes a great potato salad and she uses Miracle Whip too !! lol thanks I too use butter when it's called for...
Some things you buys without even thinking about it. Micacle Whip, Crisco, I'm a Knudsen Cottage Cheese person too. THen there are tampons. I'll only by Kotex, never ever another brand, they don't seems to work (Yes, I still having to put up with it even at my age. And underware, I only buy the LDS made kind.
