I grew up listening to John Phillip Sousa...I love it!!!
YES YES YES! I got teary eyes at the flag raising ceremony at scout camp. Those little boys are all just so excited for all the activities that their mind isn't really thinking about our freedoms and such, I'm sure they had no idea what my problem was. I am a super patriot at heart!
I have good memories of music at the fourth of july.. My Father played the trumpet and is very good. I grew up loving music of all kinds. My father was a very patriotic Man..fought in World War II and instilled in my a love of our Country and patriotism. The music still warms my heart to this day!!
I love it when we sing them in Sacrament, but the last few years we haven't sung any of the good old standards !!! "America the Beautiful" I'm hoping we sing them this year every week in July !!
