This picture is of my Mom with Hill and Mel her granddaughters !!!
Today is my mom's 80th birthday !! I promised her I would not tell her story until she had passed away, and I intend to keep that promise!! Suffices to say she has suffered at the hands of many, but she rose above the cruelty of others to be a kind and gentle mother !! I have been blessed to be her daughter !!

It sounds like your mother does want her story told, but it's just too painful for to her to be the one to do it. So she has entrusted it to her very loving daughter. What an inspiration that story will be to others someday.
You are very perseptive, she does want her story told, but not while she is alive. Some of her story is why she hasn't been to church since 1971, until Hill left on her mission, she came for Hill's farewell. It spoke volumnes to me about how much she loves her granddaughter. A few years ago she had me and Hill come over and she told us all of her story... I have never cried so much. That is why I pray the Lord will show mercy for my mother, she deserves it in my eyes !! And one day I will tell her story, at least to my family.
