This is another post I stole from a friend !!! I think this is what is needed here in America, we need to teach our children to be self reliant and the Government does not owe you a living !!!!
"Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with, is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. So here is my Question.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump --doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'. Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

I think they should have to pass a urine test for more than a welfare check. How about housing assistance, and medical insurance. I spent 7 hours at childrens hospital waiting to see if Cobi had appendicitis. They said the wait was that long because they had closed all the free clinics in the area and everyone without insurance had to go there now. Luckily Cobi did not have appendicits or his appendix probably would have burst in the waiting room! I agree that something needs to be done soon!
I am glad Cobi is okay !!! it is very scary the way our President is going for health care too !!! When Hill was in England she got a really bad flu/virus something and a doctor wouldn't even see her? The 78 year old woman she lived with had it too and they made an appointment for 3 weeks down the road !!! Yikes He must be stopped !!!
